Hello jack fleming - well, as you can see from the photos, the doggie bed arrived today. unfortunately, this caused the first growl-y, snarl-y match between my two greyhounds we have ever had. in the pictures, you will notice that win won that growl-y match & the rights to the new bed, while poor rivie has to watch instead of taking her turn. you will also see - we have extremely picky dogs -- while all wanted to get on the new victoria peak bed, in the background, EMPTY and un-used are the dr smith & foster super deluxe orthopedic bed that i paid $189.99 + shipping for and the orvis dogs own lounger that i paid $298.00 + shipping for. guess i will have to start saving up so i can purchase a second (and probably a third) victoria peak bed asap so i can avoid any fighting in my house. thank you (i think) teri durr (& lucy, win & rivie)

My name is Dee Shaffer, I'm a volunteer and foster parent for Mid- Atlantic Great Dane Rescue. Last night I received one of your beds, I was told it was a donation to rescue for a needy Dane. I thought you'd like to see a picture of it in use. You will never know how much these doggies appreciate this. I've had 5 dogs sharing 3 beds at night. Last night was the first time they've slept all night long without a growling session over space.

This picture shows my smallest, "Gracie" on the bed, and my biggest, "Snowman" lying beside her. (Size doesn't matter here, Gracie RULES) I thank you for the rest, the dogs thank you for the comfort.

Hi Jack, Peach has just finished demolishing the dog beds I purchased before discovering yours. There is a 12 inch layer of fluffy snow everywhere and she is on the couch. She and Hank and Stewie also finished off 3 other pre-Fleming Bros beds that I had in the truck for them, necessitating moving your beds into the vehicle. Could you send me 3 of the 42 inch beds and let me know the cost, shipping charges etc? Or the couch will be next. My dogs could remodel Mt Rushmore, given the chance. In 7 years, your dog pillows are the ONLY ones that haven't become deflated hole-filled corpses. They haven't chewed on them at all. The stuffing never smells "doggy", the covers wash like a dream. Peach drags hers onto the deck when she wants to sunbathe. I think every dog, well, at least every Pitbull/Am Staff, should have a Fleming Bros bed! Anything else is a waste of money. Hey Jack, Well I've received the dog bed and it's officially a big hit. As a matter of fact, last night Harney dissed me for it. I invited him up onto my bed to sleep with me and he jumped up, sniffed my pillow, and jumped back down to sleep on his plush new dog bed. The nerve of that dog! Hmpfh.
Anyway, thank you very much for shipping it out to me so speedily and I want you to know that you have a too satisfied customer in my pup. I'm posting positive feedback for you tonight, hope you'll take time to do the same.

Dear Jack, I wanted to write you and let you know how much I love our dog beds that we bought from you! We have 3 Great Danes and 4 cats and they prefer the dog beds over the FURNITURE!!! I was SO amazed, I have NEVER had a dane OR cat prefer anything to furniture. I have walked into the room and the cat will be snuggled in the center of this huge dog bed and a dane (usually Thor at 165 lbs) will be staring at the cat "willing" it to get up, and when the cat doesn't move, he sighs and moves on.

I have bought beds at stores & catalogs and they are much more expensive than yours and don't last nearly as long. I just fluff your beds back up every once in awhile and they are poofy again. This is after much use by the danes. I usually have to step over dogs on their beds when they could be sharing my king size bed! That is the worst part of your beds, no company in bed! Thanks so much for developing your fabulous, improved design- we all love them (esp hubby as he prefers dogs off the furniture and they have helped keep him happy!).Jules G.

Dear Jack, When I first read your statement that dogs will like your dog bed more than sofas etc. I thought that this is just another advertisement talking. Well, yesterday when we received the dog bed from you have it unpacked Lumpi,our dog, accepted it IMMEDIATELY. We picked her up, put her on the bed and petted her. The first night she slept on it and was a happy waggling dog. This was a real surprise because usually it takes her a long time to get used to new things. Since then, she ignored the sofa and our beds but opted to stay on her bed. It is just amazing. Thank you so much for this great bed. Still cannot believe it. Should have saved the money for the electrical sofa covers and decoys and bought your bed earlier. Lumpi and we are even more happy campers now. Woof woof and thanks. Karl

Dear Jack, When the box arrived at my doorstep I was pissed. My dog cannot fit on that, it's way too small. SO I brought it in and opened it up, what a brick. I unwrapped the plastic and out it came. The thing grew and grew. I had to jump out of the way. I was impressed, but not as impressed as my hound dog. I cannot get him away from it. I even pulled him off, but he got right back on it. Hours later he is still there. So I have to say, great dog bed. (dog approved) Best, Cullen H.

Dear Jack, You can't put all the wonderful comments in the response on E-Bay. But now instead of telling my dog to get off the couch, the bed, etc she is going straight for her dog bed. It took all of 1 or 2 days to get used to it and now we don't say a word! We had an LL Bean bed for the last 6 years...(of course it got flattened over the years) but I don't remember her being this thrilled with the bed. Our two Irish wolfhounds, one 171 and the other 140 pounds, are sleep experts: they have to have the best bed for them, or else they eat it! Several of them were torn the day we bought them. I do not even know how many beds we bought till we got one from Jack.
But these denim beds are made for dogs! It is wonderful to see our puppies drifting into sweet dreams on these beds. We had at first bought only one bed, but our older dog took it over, and would not let the other sleep on it. He wanted the prized possession only to himself. We could not endure the sad looks of our younger, so we quickly ordered the second one: now both of them are enjoying their beauty sleep , and peace is returned -to our home and to our wallets. Jack, The dog bed arrived yesterday. My dog was so thrilled. He hopped right on it and stayed on his bed most of the evening. The one I ordered is really big, but he loves it. Hi Jack. This is Rochelle. I am one of the co-founders of Friends of Penny Min Pin Rescue and won an auction for one of your larger beds right before Christmas. Rose had originally told me about your beds and in fact had given me one of the smaller ones prior to my ordering. One of my fosters, Romeo, was hit my a car and has a broken/shattered pelvis. He loves this bed! In fact I am going to have to order some more of the small ones. This one gets a waiting line. LOL. As soon as one gets out, another one jumps in. And depending on the which dog is waiting to get in they sometimes force the one already in to get out...LOL. Yes, I will definitely be getting some more of your beds. Hi Jack, This pictures was taken literally two minutes after we opened the box and tossed the new bed in the back of Johnny's Honda Element (which you can see he has set up for adventures, put the kayak and bikes on top, dog in the back, and away you go!) Dear Jack, I wanted to tell you about our other bed that we bought from you...It's been over 2 years now since we bought it. It is holding up so well! It is of course a bit faded, but there are no holes, tears, or runs in the fabric. Both of our greyhounds are nesters/bed diggers. We have been through at least four regular beds in that time (we only got one of your beds, and had other types, since two dogs). Both pups favor your dog bed and we haven't needed to restuff it yet. Jack, The three cat boxes you shipped along with the three wonderful dog beds arrived today in purrfect condition!! After removing the dog beds from the boxes I barely had enough time to fluff one up to Emma's specifications before she was asleep on it. The boxes were just what two of our Maine Coon cats, Tinker and Murry, wanted. Our other two greys and Maine Coons are still napping on their old beds...I'm sure Miss Emma will brag about the bed Mom got just for her when they all wake up...I didn't tell her everyone got one! Puccini & Rosie here.....we just got our Victoria Peak Dog Bed that our mom ordered for us and we love it....and fight over it! One of our other dog beds is from there, too, and mom says it's lasted forever, so she saved her change & got us another one. That Jack's a funny, friendly guy, too! Jack, Here are the pictures I told you I would send of our puppers on the new Victoria Peak dog beds. They all seem to like them, including the cat. I like that they stay fluffy and the dogs got right on them right when I put them down, they were not at all afraid of the 'bounce'. Awesome beds. Dear jack- I wanted to let you know that Dylan & Limerick, my Irish Wolfhounds, really enjoy their new Rectangular Victoria Peak beds! Dylan has had back surgery & was recently very ill, so I wanted a super comfortable bed for him. Well, I sure found it! He use to move from bed to bed, to tile to another room, in a search for comfort. Now he lies down (always being sure to center his back end on the bed;-p) and rests for hours! When the beds first came, they were really fluffy, as you said they'd be, so I unstuffed one a bit. The both fought over the fluffy bed! And, the height of the bed helped as physical therapy for Dylan, reminding him to pick his feet up higher- now he even walks better! and all from a dog bed. Hi Jack! The bed arrived last night! Once I got the bed out of the box and gave it a good shaking, it took about 5 minutes before my 8 year old lab (who is a notorious couch-sleeper!) took over the bed. He wouldn't give it up at all last night! This morning when I was leaving for work, my 7 year old lab had commandeered the bed and wouldn't give it up either! Needless to say, it is a total hit!! Hi Jack: Our dog bed arrived today and it is just wonderful! I can't believe how the bed "grew" as we unpacked it. We placed it on the floor of our den and just let our oldest greyhound Milo try it out. He scratched and nested for just 2 or 3 times and laid in it as if he were in heaven. Hi Jack, Finally now the 2 beds I got from you in February 2004 are finally wearing out a bit --- My 2 greyhounds, Emily & Edward, are 7 years old now & have thouroughly enjoyed their beds! As a matter of fact, they fight with my husband every night over their beds because he likes them too! He lies on the floor to watch TV & ends up stealing one of their beds while I take them on their last walk at night!!! Really, I can't tell you enough how fantastic these beds are - comfortable, nice looking, & best of all very durable --- I think the covers have been washed at least 50 times - probably more - and are just now beginning to fade in the center - the zippers are still perfect (that alone is a miracle) and the batting is not as plump as it used to be although it is still plenty comfortable (even after many washings) but with your great sale going on I think I can splurge & get Em & Ed 2 new beds --- I remember before I "found you" I was buying them new beds about every 3-6 months and not cheap ones at that!!!! I ordered a couple of beds from Foster's & Smith that were over $100 apiece and they lasted about 6 months and they were totally no good - broken zipper, splitting seams etc. and the batting was the worst - flat in about a week!!!! So, I will run to your website & order my 2 beds --- Dee K.

Hi, Jack. It's hard to get a good photo of a black dog on an dark blue bed --- but I wanted to mention how happy I am with this bed --Cody caught a squirrel on Tuesday -- not a good day for him or the squirrel. Much blood everywhere (from Cody's lacerated nose) that soaked into the bed (because that was the only place he wanted to be). When the bleeding finally stopped completely(more than 24 hrs later) I took off the cover. Very little had gotten through to the bed. I took the stuffing out of the bed and washed the white cover which came out completely fine, as did the indigo cover. So he's back in business. Thanks for a great product. Ruth M

Jack, Just to let you know, everyone from the Jack Russell to the Lab and the greyhounds absolutely love the beds. On of the ones for the greys is still very poofy, but theothers are tamped down nicely. My daughter said her Lab is in heaven. He is a youngster, only 2, but lives with my 3 grandsons, so gets lots of exercise. He failed Seeing Eye school, so he is very well trained and a really nice dog, even though he is not a greyhound :>) I keep telling people about the beds and the connection to the Rainforest. take care and enjoy your spring, katherine

Hi Jack, the bed arrived just fine on Thursday. I opened it following your instructions and Voila! My dog refused to sleep on it Thursday night (which sort of surprised me), but when I took out a bunch of stuffing, she was all over it on Friday! ? I may put the stuffing back one handful at a time to see if I hit a ? preferred level of stuffing? limit. Anyway, long story short, it is a great dog bed, supports a good cause (rain forests) and is a fun purchase. What more can a customer (or dog) ask. Thanks so much!! Hi Jack, I have to tell you how much I love your dog beds! When I got the first one, I had read all the testimonials on your web page and was completely skeptical, thinking, "Oh sure, it is so huge and fluffy it needs a special box and it will expand and expand when I open it, etc." When it came, it was all true! It still looks brand new despite a lot of washings. My 11 and a half year old greyhound, Annie, really does prefer your bed to the couch. And, thank you so much for the great recommendation about the Valethics pads. I have a new whippet puppy in the house, and they have saved our beautiful bed many times. Hi Jack, My old roommate ordered a bed from you all in like 2001 (his name is Cullen H.). Sometime in 2004 I got another dog and he sent me an email with y'alls link. I never got another bed, but saved the old email with the link. Thats how I managed to get to the old site. I still have the old indigo bed (thats why I'd like the new one to be tan). Jack, It has been awhile now since we received our dog beds. I just wanted to let you know that Moses loves all of them. It only took him a couple of minutes and a little coaxing to try them out. They are so padded that we feel really good about him having them. With him being a greyhound he does not have much fat and these beds are extremely soft for him. The beds have come in handy in a different way as well. We had some family over and they decided to spend the night, but with the 5 of them and us there wasn't enough room for everyone, so one of the boys slept on one of the the round dog beds. He said it worked out fine for him and was pretty comfortable. So, there you have it. Multple uses for a wonderful product. Dear Jack, I just wanted to thank you for making such a wonderful dog bed (I recently purchased one of the 46"X56" rectangular beds, ordered through Kate Jenkins- cedarrunpets@gmail.com), and I thought I'd send you some photos of Jenna, my Great Dane. She absolutely loves the new bed. She was a bit frightened of it at first, but once she got on it, she was snoring within 5 minutes! A friend of mine came over later that night, and Jenna got off the bed for a total of about 20 seconds (just long enough to greet my friend), and promptly laid back down and slept for the rest of the night! I'm very glad to have found a dog bed that is so comfortable for Jenna...with this bed I know I won't have to worry about pressure and stress on her joints while she is sleeping. Also, I think it's great that the purchase of a dog bed helps with rainforest conservation. I've told everyone I know who has dogs what a wonderful product this is. Dear Jack: We received the dog bed in great shape. You are right, it is quite boingie!! Once the dogs figured out what it was they loved it! Here are a few pictures of two of our dogs on your bed. As you can see, they are really enjoying it! The fawn colored dog is Ben, he is 7 years old and the black dog is Swiffer, he is 9. Jack: Several years ago I bought 2 56" beds from you. My dogs would chew anything that they could find. These beds have lasted this long without the chewing. I'm really impressed. Jack: The dog beds have arrived. Gus is in heaven. He barely let me finish opening the first one before he laid down on it. And, that one wasn't even his, he was hanging off of it. Initially, we had Gus on Agnes's bed and Agnes and one of the cats on Gus's bed. They straightened things out after a little bit and now Gus is comfortably sleeping on his own bed. Hi Jack! The beds arrived safe and sound, and there are some very happy puppies today. I finally see what everyone on GreyTalk has been raving about! What I like about them from a human perspective, of course) is that they're poofy but very neat and tidy. I've been using Snuggums beds for the past 15 years, but of course they flatten out, and I've been putting layers of blankets on top to keep them fluffy. With your beds, we only need, well, the bed! And the pups get an eyes-glazed-over, hypnotic expression of contentment that's great to see. Jordan G.

Hi Jack, We bought one of your 38" denim beds probably 5 years ago, and it's in terrific shape. This is amazing, particularly since we are fosters for rescued hounds and never have less than 6 dogs in our household. As you can imagine, it's a nightly competition to see who can finish dinner first and make it onto the Victoria Peak bed! We've washed the cover once per week, and the bed has beautifully survived several unpleasant accidents including upset the result of upset doggie stomachs. It may be slightly faded, but otherwise looks like new. We're excited to receive another bed for our special dogs. Thanks for continuing to make and offer these beds at reasonable prices. Dear Jack, your beds are absolutely the best! We have five of them I think! The only problem with them is I was expecting them to get less fluffy, but after two years they are still looking brand new!!! They're definitely worth what you're charging when they last at least four times as long as anything else! :) Krista B.

Jack, I want to thank you so very much for the dog bed donation for Beach Bound Hounds! I won the bed and am copying below what I have posted about it on our two group forums. It follows: I won an AWESOME dog bed in the BBH silent auction. It is from www.VictoriaPeak.com Go and Juju have always slept on the couch and Murphy has always just laid on the floor even tho' there are 3 large dog beds to lay on. WELLLLLL....they are now all trying to get on this bed and claim it as their own. Go has only been on the couch twice since BBH and that is because one of the other dogs was hogging the VP bed. And MURPHY (wolfhound) who NEVER lays on a bed gets on it whenever it is available. So guess who will be ordering a couple more VP beds??? My dogs HIGHLY recommend them! Allyson B.

Hi Jack, Just wanted to let you know that the 2 beds came right on schedule on Friday! I am glad that you sent the opening instructions!!! It was amazing how big the beds became as I removed them carefully from the boxes!

I think at first my girls were a little scared of the size of them, but it didn't take long before Rose's curiosity got the better of her and she plopped down right in the middle of the first one opened! Soon to be followed by Mindy. About an hour later, Rose was giving the beds the ultimate sign of greyhound approval.... she was in the classic "cockroach" position.. all four legs in the air and her head tossed back and tongue hanging out chasing the elusive rabbit in dreamland!

I am so glad that I ordered these beds. The quality for the price is better than the ones I have been using from LL Bean, which do go flat way too soon! I hope to get some pictures to send to you soon!
