Victoria Peak dog beds are all about the cushion- a 100% cotton muslin tick, well stuffed with pounds of hypoallergenic, silicone coated, hollow polyester fiber. The tick comes with its own zipper to allow for firmness adjustment and/or the introduction of aromatics by the customer.

To be on the safe side we urge you, if there are small children in the household, to turn the cushion (inside the cover) so the cushion zipper points to the back of the bed cover, hiding it from childrens' curious eyes if they open the cover's zipper. The little moppets will put the doggonedest things in their mouths.

The bed is soft enough to form a nest and yet it's thick enough to keep your best buddy up, well off the floor, and out of drafts. Polyester fiber is inert, so it does not absorb odors nor trigger allergic reactions in pets or people. The silicone coating on the polyester fiber helps it stay bouncy and resist clumping.

The covers on the circular floor pillows and pet beds all have a heavy duty, flap-hidden zipper reaching half-way around bed. This is a costly added feature we are very proud of since our super-long zipper makes the removal of the covers for machine washing quite easy and their replacement equally so.
